FAQ

How far do you travel for sessions?

*I will travel anywhere in Saskatchewan, however a mileage fee will be applied. Please notify me of your location prior to booking so that I can give you an exact total for your session.

How will I get my images?

*Every session includes digital images sized for social media and high resolution images for printing. You will receive an online gallery protected with a password where you can download your images to your computer or your phone.

How does payment work for booking?

*Every session requires a 25% retainer at the time of booking to reserve your date, as well as a signed contract and questionnaire. Once these are complete, your date is secure. Final payment is due 24 hours prior to the session otherwise your session will not take place.

What if I need to reschedule?

*Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior at no cost, your retainer and session fee will be transferred to a new date that works for both of us. If your session date ends up being rainy or we have to reschedule due to weather, we will pick the next available date.

Where will the session take place?

*For western lifestyle and equine sessions, these will take place at the location you keep your horse, this will ensure that your horse is relaxed and familiar with their surroundings. Non-western lifestyle and equine sessions are typically done at a scenic location in the area!

What should I wear?

*Some outfit choices I recommend would be jeans and a nice top, your competition attire or a cute sun dress. Some clients prefer to go all out and wear a fancy dress or full on costume for themed sessions. For the non-western lifestyle and equine sessions, I always recommend solid colors and minimal patterns as we want the focus to be on you.

What if my horse doesn't stand still?

*Prior to the session, I recommend grooming and giving your horse a light lunge. This way, they can get all their jitters out and you can feel more relaxed as well. I also have a top secret trick to getting those ears forward on your four legged friends! If possible, bring a friend along to help with outfit adjustments when we're shooting and they can stand behind me as well to get the attention of your horse.

Will you take photos on train tracks?

*I will never take photographs on the train tracks, not only is it considered trespassing, which is illegal, but it is also incredibly dangerous and I will not risk my life or my clients lives for a snapshot.
